  SPRING SYMPOSIUM 2008 — April 2 through 5 amnhlogo

SUSTAINING CULTURAL AND BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY
IN A RAPIDLY CHANGING WORLD: LESSONS FOR GLOBAL POLICY

Call for Posters

A limited number of posters will be accepted for presentation during the Symposium. Posters that address any aspect of the Symposium themes will be considered. Members of a Poster Selection Committee will determine which abstracts are to be accepted based on their relevance and general level of interest.

Note: Please review the Criteria for Selection list, to help focus your proposal.

Accepted posters will be displayed in a main gathering area throughout the Symposium. There will be a formal Poster Session and Reception on the evening of Thursday, April 3, 2008.

Poster board and easels will be provided. The boards are 4-by-4 feet (1.22-by-1.22 meters), so please limit your poster to that size, although it can certainly be smaller. Push pins, clips, and adhesive tape will also be provided.

To be considered for the Poster Session, please submit an abstract. (see Sample Abstract Submission)

Abstract Format

Order should be last name first for the first author, but first name first for all other authors. Write out full first names.

For the presenting author only, include an email address in parentheses at the end of the address. If there are multiple addresses, indicate by superscript numeral.

Abstract - The body of the abstract is limited to 300 words and should not exceed one paragraph. Begin with a statement of the problem or objectives and end with a clear conclusion.
